After opting to bat, Lucknow posted 163 for five in their 20 overs and in response Gujarat was bowled out for 130 in 18.5 overs.
Earlier, Lucknow was well served by a 91 run third wicket stand between skipper KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis (58: 43b, 4x4, 2x6). Towards the end there were handy contributions from Nicholas Pooran (32 n.o.) and Ayush Badoni (20). Lucknow finished on 163 for five in their 20 overs.
