Naman Dhir (30:14b, 2x4, 2x6) and Tilak Verma (64:34b, 2x4, 6x6) then played valiant knocks. Dhir and Verma stitched 84 runs for the third wicket and made sure Mumbai coped up with the steep asking rate.
