Four goals from Cristiano Ronaldo propel him past the 500 league goals mark

Al Nassr defeated Al Wehda 4-0 in the Saudi Pro League, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals to surpass the 500 league goals mark for his career. Sunday marked the 38th birthday of the Portuguese forward, who scored twice in the 40th and 40th minutes, respectively.

He has already scored 503 league goals for five different teams in five different leagues. In December, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined Al Nassr, reportedly earning £177 million annually. However, he did not have the best start with his new team, scoring only one goal from the penalty spot in his first three games.

After two seasons at Manchester United, during which he scored 103 league goals, Ronaldo left the club in November. He scored 311 goals for Real Madrid in La Liga, 81 goals for Juventus in Serie A, and three goals for Sporting Lisbon, his first professional club, in the Portuguese top division. With one match remaining against Al Shabab, Ronaldo's four goals helped Al Nassr regain the lead in the standings on goal differential.
