Big Bash League 2022: All team squads and everything you need to know

The Big Bash League (BBL)12th season will begin on December 13 when Sydney Thunders and Melbourne Stars square off in the season opener. The addition of new teams and a few new rules in the premier league has created some enthusiasm for the 2022–23 season.

The league will include eight teams seeking to compete for the coveted title, much like last year. The Sydney Sixers won it three times, and the Perth Scorchers were the only team to win it a record-setting four times.

The top four teams in the league will compete in elimination rounds, and the winner of "The Challenger" will join "The Qualifier" as a participant in the Final.  Teams have strengthened their rosters and created plans in accordance to fight for the renowned league crown, making for an interesting season.
