Sumit Nagal, a renowned Indian tennis player, defeated Ho Tin Marco Leung of Macau on Sunday and went to the Asian Games men's singles pre-quarterfinals without dropping a set.

Given that Nagal's opponent does not even have an ATP ranking, it was expected to be a simple second-round match for the 159th-ranked Nagal.

Nagal, the fifth seed with a first-round bye, thrashed his opponent 6-0, 6-0 in 45 minutes.

He will face the winner of the other second-round match between Tajikistan's Firuz Mukhidinov and Kazakhstan's Beibit Zhukayev.
